races in the Formula USA National Road Race series and Championship Cup Series Northeast Regional Events.

RACE REPORT
Scott Greenwood has just returned from Daytona. (and lots of rain!)
A quick update of the first two events of the season.
The Formula USA National Series is combined with the Championship Cup Series events in 2003. The amateur and expert CCS races ran from Thursday through Saturday, leaving Sunday for the Pro events.
Scott won the CCS Middleweight Supersport event, was 3rd in Heavyweight Supersport and 7th in the wet GTU Endurance race.
Qualified 8th fastest on a very damp race track for the FUSA Pro Sportbike race. Led briefly on the start of the 18 lap Pro Sportbike final and settled in back in 4th place. On the final lap, coming to the checkered flag the 3rd place rider ran out of gas and Scott passed him just before the finish line which put him in 3rd place and on the podium.

He stayed for the AMA Superbike events and competed in US Superstock ( 750cc).
Qualified 13th, the second of two privateers in the first 4 rows. The race was rain delayed from Friday to Sunday and then again from Sunday to Monday.
In the Superstock race Scott finished 13th overall and second privateer.
